As noted, this week on Monday Night Raw Triple H would be joining Team Raw in their traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match against Team SmackDown, replacing Jason Jordan.
There are two members of Team SmackDown which Triple H has never faced in the ring before, Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura. During an interview with NBC Sports, while he is looking forward to locking up with both of them, wrestling with Nakamura intrigues him the most.
Triple H said: “Whenever I’m looking at talent, even when I’m developing NXT guys, I can’t help but look at it from a performer’s point of view.
“I did an interview a few years ago when Nakamura was first coming in and they asked me if there were guys I would like to wrestle and I was like yeah, I’d like to wrestle him.
“Am I planning to do it? No, but it would be awesome if I could just fantasy book it in my head. Now I’m going to be able to actually get in the ring with him.”
Triple H vs Shinsuke Nakamura will certainly be an interesting matchup, as it is one we have never seen before, so WWE fans will be keeping their fingers crossed in hope that it takes place during the traditional 5-on-5 elimination match at Survivor Series.
