UC-Santa Barbara Assistant Zach Lebovic Joining Princeton Men’s Staff As Assistant Coach

Zach Lebovic will join the men’s swimming and diving program at Princeton as an assistant coach for the upcoming season. Lebovic most recently coached at UC-Santa Barbara.

“It’s a pleasure and a privilege to join the staff at Princeton,” Lebovic said. “I’m very excited to work with such high achieving student-athletes and work alongside tremendous coaches in Matt Crispino and Mia Nonnenberg. Go Tigers!”

Lebovic joined the UC-Santa Barbara coaching staff in 2022, joining the program as an assistant coach. Lebovic primarily coached the sprint group while also serving as the recruiting coordinator of the women’s program.

The UCSB men finished 2nd out of 7 teams while the women’s program was 2nd out of 10 teams at the 2024 Mountain Pacific Championships.

In addition to working with UCSB, Lebovic also assisted at the club level this past season working with the 11-12 age group for Santa Barbara Swim Club in 2023-2024. He also has previous club coaching experience as he coached Walter Schroeder Aquatic Club and The Town Club in Wisconsin as well as Capo Masters in California.

Lebovic spent his collegiate student-athlete career at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He spent his senior season as a captain and graduated with a degree in English in 2021.

Lebovic arrives to the Princeton men who finished 2nd out of 8 teams at the 2024 Ivy League Championships. The team scored 1321 points, finishing 2nd to Harvard who scored 1682 points. John Ehling led the way as he scored 85 individual points and was highlighted by a conference title in the 1000 freestyle.
