Where the Bengals stand in latest NFL power rankings

Where do you think the Bengals should be ranked?

As we inch closer to the start of the 2024-25 NFL season and teams continue to make changes to their rosters, we get a chance to see new power rankings.

This update comes from Pro Football Talk, and where the Cincinnati Bengals stand may surprise you.

The Kansas City Chiefs check in at No. 1 in the rankings, with the San Francisco 49ers right behind them. That is not what is surprising.

What stands out is the Bengals are slotted at No. 8, with some head-scratching teams just ahead of them.

At No. 7, we see the Buffalo Bills, who just lost Stephon Diggs and are a team that the Bengals have had a ton of success against.

No. 6 is the Green Bay Packers, who should have a lot of hype heading into the new season. However, they are ranked higher than the Bengals, who have proven that with a healthy Joe Burrow, they are a legit contender.

I think we all understand that Burrow’s health and a couple of other factors, such as the new offensive line, will determine how high this team can climb.
