WWE fans have seen the debut of a former NXT Champion Samoa Joe. Joe was part of a master plan by Triple H to ambush Seth Rollins on the way to the ring. The attack left Rollins injured and possibly unable to compete at “WrestleMania.” Joe has gone on to take on Roman Reigns and win the match on “Raw,” and has also continually attacked Sami Zayn. Now there are #wwe rumors, that one of Joe’s former rivals, Shinsuke Nakamura, could also be heading to the main roster and very soon.

An interesting rumor via Four3Four website is suggesting that the big match on Tuesday’s “SmackDown Live” involving AJ Styles against Luke Harper will be interrupted by the former NXT champion. This is, of course, simply a rumor right now, as there have been longtime WWE rumors of an AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon battle at “WrestleMania.” The match on Tuesday is to determine whether AJ Styles or Luke Harper will take on Bray Wyatt for his title at “Mania,” with many rumors suggesting Harper will win.

Nakamura’s intentions for interrupting the “SmackDown” match would be interesting to see as he was last seen losing the NXT title to Bobby Roode, suffering injury, and not returning that show, yet. One would expect Nakamura has unfinished business on NXT before even showing up at “SmackDown,” so stay tuned to see if these rumors hold up.

WWE’s ‘Super Bowl’ of pro wrestling

Among the matches already on the card will be Goldberg taking on Brock Lesnar, as well as someone taking on Bray Wyatt for the WWE World Heavyweight title. An AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match could very well steal the show as these two are longtime stars within the various professional wrestling organizations around the world.

In addition to Nakamura’s rumors, there have been WWE rumors of a Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal showdown at the huge pay-per-view, as well as the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. John Cena and Nikki Bella may also team up in a “WrestleMania match against The Miz and Maryse, while the various titles scattered between the two rosters are likely to be defended.

WrestleMania 33” is scheduled for Sunday, April 2nd from Orlando, Florida, so expect WWE rumors to continue to swirl ahead of the “Super Bowl of pro wrestling
