According to the Wrestling Observer, big changes are coming to WWE’s flagship programs ahead of the promotion’s move to the Fox network. Former head writer of Monday Night Raw Ed Koskey has been moved to SmackDown Live to take over for Ryan Ward. He will be working closely with new executive director Eric Bischoff. Jonathan Baeckstrom, who was the head writer for 205 Live since 2016, is now the head writer of Raw under Paul Heyman. Baeckstrom was actually brought in to Raw the moment Heyman was hired. Ryan Ward is currently on leave and officially out from that position. Reports are that this was expected since the last several SmackDown Live scripts have been heavily edited by Vince McMahon.
Stay tuned.
