Earlier today we reported that the WWE was interested in Enzo and Cass, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The word now is that the WWE has no interest in the duo at this time. Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that they reached out to WWE and were told the rumor has no basis and they were never in talks with each other.
After the story started making the rounds this morning, Enzo had fueled the fire by posting an old picture of himself standing in front of the NXT semi trailer.

Meltzer: The story is that they’re not coming into WWE.
Alvarez: Thats it?
Meltzer: Thats it.
Alvarez: Were they contacted? Is that part correct?
Meltzer: They said they were contacted. And WWE says they are not interested. Thats the story.
