– Tonight’s WWE NXT episode opens live with Mauro Ranallo at the NXT Arena from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Mauro talks about how The OC attacked The Undisputed Era before the show hit the air, which was also shown on the USA Network at the 7:50pm preview. The OC suddenly appears in the arena – WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
The OC attacks a few crew members on the way to the ring. Styles says so this is NXT. Fans do dueling chants for NXT and The OC. Styles says NXT Superstars attacked RAW and SmackDown for a war, so now they’re bringing the war to NXT. Styles says all the top NXT stars are out of commission, so The OC is taking NXT over. And that is undisputed, he says. They do the “too sweet” and go to leave the ring but the music hits and out comes Tommaso Ciampa.
Fans chant for Ciampa as he comes to the stage with a mic. Ciampa says for years he’s been asked when he’s going to the main roster. Well now he wants to be the first one to welcome The OC to NXT. Ciampa says NXT has always been the show and it’s just so happened to be daddy’s home. Fans chant “Daddy’s home!” once again. Ciampa says The OC can come and beat up Undisputed Era, that’s fine to him, but he does have a problem with The OC say they’re taking over. Styles asks if the three of them are supposed to be scared of Ciampa. Fans chant “yes!” now. Styles admits Ciampa is the only one here with big enough balls to come out and say anything. Keith Lee and Matt Riddle suddenly appear on the stage, on each side of Ciampa.
Fans chant “NXT!” and “Bro!” now. Ciampa says it looks like they have plenty of balls as fans do various chants again. Ciampa says they were prepared to face The Undisputed Era at WarGames, but tonight The OC should go put their gear on and go to war. Fans chant “NXT!” again. AJ accepts the challenge and the main event is on as the crowd pops and the two sides stare each other down.
– We go to the announcers to hype tonight’s show. Mauro is joined by Nigel McGuinness and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.
Pete Dunne vs. Damian Priest
We go to the ring and out first comes Pete Dunne. Damian Priest is out next.
They do some sizing up and taunting early on. They go at it and tangle, both going for finishers early on. Dunne counters The Reckoning and Priest counters The Bitter End. More counters and quick back & forth before they face off and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Priest hits a Falcon Arrow in the middle of the ring for a 2 count. We see how Priest rocked Dunne with big strikes during the break. Priest keeps Dunne down on the mat with more kicks, then grounds him. Mauro confirms The OC vs. Ciampa, Riddle and Lee for tonight’s main event.
Dunne fights back and up, driving Priest down. Dunne unloads with open palm strikes to the chest. Dunne goes on and dazes Priest with an enziguri. Dunne with a missile dropkick from the top. Priest blocks a German suplex with an elbow. Priest goes for a German but Dunne lands on his feet. Dunne comes right back and rocks Priest with a kick to the head, sending him back out of the ring. Dunne goes to the top and flies, taking Priest back down on the floor with a moonsault. Fans chant “NXT!” now.
Priest ends up turning it around on the outside, driving Dunne’s back into the edge of the apron. Dunne brings it back in and comes off the top but Dunne hits him in mid-air. Dunne with a sitdown powerbomb for another close 2 count. Dunne with a double stomp on the hand. Dunne keeps control but has The Bitter End blocked. Priest with a bell clap and a kick to drop Dunne, sending him out for a breather. Priest runs the ropes and flies over the top rope, taking Dunne back down. Mauro and the fans pop big as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and they trade big strikes in the middle of the ring. They collide with a dropkick attempt by Dunne and a big boot from Priest, and both go down as fans chant “NXT!” again. Dunne blocks a kick and delivers a big headbutt. Priest comes right back and turns Dunne inside out with a clothesline. Dunne blocks another finisher but Priest comes back and hits the Crucifix Bomb. Dunne still kicks out at 2 as fans go wild again. Priest stands over Dunne and motions for his bow and arrow, but Dunne grabs Priest’s hand and fights up.
Dunne takes it into the corner by holding Priest’s fingers. Priest backs into the referee and his back is turned. Dunne ends up nailing a kick below the belt while the referee has his back turned due to Priest. Dunne goes right into the armbar and Priest taps out for the win, evening the rivalry at 1-1.

– After the match, Dunne stands tall as his music hits. Dunne looks at the camera and shrugs his shoulders over the low blow. Priest recovers and Dunne stares at him as we go to replays. We come back and Killian Dain attacks Dunne, beating him down. Priest joins in and they double team Dunne to some boos. Dain splashes Dunne in the corner and then nails a Vader Bomb. Dain gets down in Dunne’s face and makes his exit as some fans chant “shave your back!” now. Dain is leaving as Priest attacks him from the side. Dain fights back and launches Priest into the steel ring steps. Dain backs up and nails a big cannonball into Priest and the steps. Dain stares down Dunne and Priest, talking trash while some fans boo.
– The announcers talk about women’s WarGames and how new team members were announced on The Bump earlier. Captain Shayna Baszler picked Bianca Belair and Io Shirai, while Captain Rhea Ripley picked Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae.
– We see Dakota Kai backstage warming up. Cathy Kelley is with her, asking about tonight’s main event with Shayna Baszler, but the volume seems low at first. Kai says she’s not intimidated by Baszler and she’s going to prove why she deserves to be on Rhea Ripley’s WarGames team. Kai goes on and says she’s going to kick Baszler’s face in. Kai goes back to warming up as we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and the announcers hype tonight’s big six-man main event.
Taynara vs. Santana Garrett
We go to the ring and out first comes Taynara Conti as Alicia Taylor does the introductions. Santana Garrett is out next for her debut as the announcers talk about her background, being inspired by her father, who she lost to cancer earlier this year. The announcers say the female competitors are trying to impress Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler for the final WarGames spots.
Back and forth to start as they go for early pin attempts. Taynara grounds Garrett by her arm. Garrett gets up and takes Taynara down a few times. Garrett with a Russian leg sweep and a 2 count. Taynara comes back with an overhead belly-to-belly throw and a huge running knee to the face that gets a replay. Taynara with more strikes for a pop.
Taynara takes Garrett back down and covers for a 2 count. Taynara talks some trash and kicks Garrett a few times while holding her down by her arm. Garrett fights back with right hands. Taynara counters with another big knee. Taynara with some judo throws and her Ipponzei. Taynara with more offense before taking Garrett down into a Rings of Saturn. They get up and Garrett counters with a jawbreaker. More back and forth now. Garrett starts to mount momentum and hits the cartwheel handspring back elbow into the corner as Beth talks about how this is an emotional match for Garrett.
Garrett with more strikes and more offense but Taynara kicks out at 2. Garrett with a handspring moonsault but Taynara moves and stays in it. Taynara goes on and hits a kick to the face for the pin to win.

Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai
We go to the ring and out first comes Dakota Kai. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler is out next for this non-title match. She’s joined on the stage by Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. They head to the ring together and pose in the middle of the ring.
Baszler backs Kai into the ring to start and disrespects her. Kai comes out as they tangle. Kai pie-faces her. Baszler ends up dropped first as Kai taunts her. Kai with a kick. Kai avoids an attack and rolls Baszler for a 2 count. Kai builds some momentum now, sending Baszler to the floor for a breather. Kai runs the apron for a kick but Baszler catches it. Baszler uses the leg to launch Kai face-first into the ring post and she goes down on the floor.
Kai makes it back in but Baszler unloads on her knee with stomps, where the brace is. Duke and Shafir look on fro ringside as Baszler keeps Kai grounded, working on her knee and making her scream. Baszler continues to work on the knee. The referee checks on Kai as Baszler looks on and we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Kai kicks out of a submission. Kai looks to make a comeback now. Kai with a pair of clotheslines and more kicks. Kai with another boot to the face from the floor while Baszler is down on the apron. Kai comes back in and drops Baszler for a 2 count. Kai brings it in and goes to the top but Baszler cuts her off. Baszler climbs up and hits a big gutwrench superplex but Kai still kicks out.
Fans do dueling chants now. They both get up and trade strikes in the middle of the ring. The strikes go on as they speed it up but both are still standing. Kai with a headbutt. Kai runs into a big roundhouse kick. Kai comes back with a discus forearm, sending Baszler into the corner. Kai runs the ring but Baszler kicks her in the head. Kai comes back and they both go down as the referee checks on them. Kai gets up first and delivers a series of kicks to the side of the face. Baszler blocks the GTK and hits a big step-up knee to the jaw. Kai still kicks out.
Baszler goes into the Kirifuda Clutch but Kai escapes before it’s locked in. Kai with more kicks. Kai charges but Baszler catches her and quickly drops her into the Kirifuda Clutch. Some fans chant “tap!” now. They tangle on the mat and Kai tries to break the hold but Baszler keeps it locked and gets the submission.

– After the match, Baszler stands tall as Duke and Shafir join her. We go to replays. After the replays, the Horsewomen attack Kai and beat her down. Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae run out to make the save. Bianca Belair and Io Shirai are also out. Mia Yim runs out and unloads with a bunch of kendo stick shots as fans pop and chant her name. Yim checks on Kai in the ring as Baszler and the others retreat through the crowd. Ripley, LeRae and Nox join Yim and Kai in the ring. It looks like Ripley might be interested in Yim for her team.
– Mauro shows us a video with highlights of the NXT invasion on SmackDown and RAW.
– Cathy Kelley is with Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. She asks about tonight and WarGames. Ciampa says one thing at a time and The Undisputed Era will know about WarGames when it’s time. Regarding The OC, Ciampa says he and the others left the door wide open for them.

Tony Nese vs. Angel Garza
Back from the break and out comes Tony Nese for his NXT return. Angel Garza is out next. He greets some fans at ringside and gets a kiss from one woman.
Fans chant for Garza as the bell rings. The winner of this one will challenge NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush for the title. They lock up and go back & forth. Garza with an early submission attempt but Nese avoids it. They tangle on the mat some more and break. They lock up but Nese kicks Garza and takes him down by his arm, grounding him.
Nese keeps control and shows off some by flexing. They run the ropes some and Garza nails a big flying headscissors for a pop as he warns Nese. Nese fires back with a big chop to the chest. Garza wants more and Nese hits him again. Garza tells him to bring it again and Nese with a big chop. Nese looks to take control now as they go at it. Nese with shots in the corner as the referee warns them. Nese ends up top but Garza hits an enziguri. Garza climbs up but Nese fights him. Nese goes for a Sunset Bomb from the top but Garza slides out by his pants coming off. Garza leaps to the top as we see him in his trunks now, getting a pop for the signature wardrobe malfunction, and then takes Nese down from the top for a pop. We go back to commercial with Garza standing tall.
Back from the break and Garza mounts offense. Garza with a big dropkick as he goes on and sends Nese out to the floor. Garza with a Wrecking Ball dropkick to send Nese back down on the floor. Garza goes to the top and hits a big moonsault from the top to the floor. Fans go wild. Garza brings it back in and ends up hitting a backbreaker for a close 2 count.
They face off in the middle of the ring. Garza yells and goes to swing but Nese goes under him and delivers a big slam for another close 2 count. Garza keeps control and drops Nese again as fans chant his name. Garza goes to the top but Nese jumps up and rocks him. Garza is on the apron now but Nese unloads and sweeps him off to the floor. They both end up on the floor and Nese nails a big DDT on the floor. Nese brings it back into the ring for the big 450 but Garza still kicks out at 2.
They trade strikes while getting to their feet now. The big strikes continue in the middle of the ring. More back and forth between the two. Garza with a sitdown powerbomb for a close 2 count. Garza goes to the top but is forced to land on his feet. Garza with a back kick to the face. Garza follows up with the Wing Clipper for the pin to win.
Winner and New #1 Contender to NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush: Angel Garza
– After the match, Garza stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays. Garza goes to the stage and looks out at the crowd. Out comes NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush to the stage. Rush ends up offering his hand for a shake. Garza looks like he’s about to shake back, but instead he delivers a big slap to the face. Garza walks off as Rush smiles but then gets serious. Mauro confirms Garza vs. Rush for next week.
– Cathy is backstage with Rhea Ripley, Mia Yim, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae. Ripley confirms that her 4th team member for WarGames will be Yim. Yim says she’s been fighting all her life and at WarGames, they’re collecting bodies. Ripley apologizes to Kai and says she just didn’t make the cut. Kai says something we can’t hear, and walks off. Ripley says this is her team. We go to commercial.
– Back from the break and the announcers confirm the second WarGames match – The Undisputed Era vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle and a mystery partner to be revealed.
Isaiah Scott vs. Dominik Dijakovic
We go to the ring and out first comes Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Dominik Dijakovic is out next.
The bell rings and they face off before locking up. Scott with some offense and showing off. Back and forth now. Dijakovic catches Scott and manhandles him some, slamming him over his knee and tossing him across the ring. Dijakovic mounts Scott and works him over. Dijakovic continues to dominate for a close 2 count. Dijakovic keeps control and hits a Pendulum backbreaker, then a big splash from the second rope. Scott stays in the match as some fans try to rally for him. Scott comes back with a big Flatliner. Some fans chant “Swerve!” now.
Scott drops Dijakovic with a big kick and launches himself at Dijakovic off the ropes. Scott comes in from the apron and hits a big German. Dijakovic counters into the turnbuckles but Scott hits a House Call and a big DDT for another 2 count. More back and forth between the two with power moves. Scott mounts offense but Dijakovic cuts him off and hits a big Chokebomb in the middle of the ring for another close 2 count.
Nigel mentions Scott being a former EVOLVE Champion as some fans try to rally for him. Dijakovic gets up first and talks trash. Dijakovic keeps looking in Scott’s face, laughing back at him. Scott counters with a big modified hurricanrana. Scott goes on and hits a big double stomp from the top to the apron. Scott runs the ropes and turns Dijakovic inside out with a big lariat. Scott covers for a 2 count. Scott blocks a big shot and hits another House Call. More back and forth now. The finish sees Dijakovic hit Feast Your Eyes for the pin to win.

The OC vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee
We go to the ring for tonight’s main event and out first comes The OC – WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Matt Riddle is out first for his team, followed by Keith Lee. Tommaso Ciampa is out last. They hit the ring and the brawl begins as a “NXT!” chant breaks out.
The brawl goes to the floor. Riddle and AJ go at it as Lee and Ciampa take turns on the others. AJ and Ciampa come into the ring as the bell rings. Fans do dueling chants as they stare each other down. They go at it. AJ nails a big dropkick to send Ciampa out of the ring. Ciampa launches himself out with a springboard but Riddle gets hit with the Phenomenal Forearm instead as Ciampa moves. Ciampa brings it back into the ring and hits a big second rope draping DDT but AJ kicks out at 2.
Lee comes in and rocks AJ in the gut as the crowd is hot. AJ ends up hitting a chop block to bring the big man down. Lee stares Gallows down as he comes in. Fans get behind Lee before they lock it up. They collide and have words in the middle of the ring. Gallows collides with another shoulder and they talk more trash in the middle of the ring. Lee charges this time and moves Gallows a few feet. More trash talking. Gallows tells Lee to bring it again. Lee ducks a right hand and knocks Gallows out of the ring with a Pounce. Gallows comes in and rocks Lee, allowing him to tag Anderson in.
Anderson and Lee go at it but Lee takes him down with a crossbody. Lee stares at Anderson as Anderson yells out in pain. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Ciampa ends up going at it with Anderson. Anderson with a big Spinebuster but Ciampa kicks out at 2. Gallows drops Ciampa and unloads on him with elbows. Gallows keeps Ciampa grounded now. Gallows knocks Lee off the apron at one point. Anderson comes back in to keep control. Ciampa finally rocks Anderson with a big knee to the face. Riddle goes wild on the apron as fans chant for him to get the tag.
Riddle tags in and fans pop big as AJ also comes in. Riddle with shots to all three opponents, knocking Gallows off the apron. Riddle with an Exploder to AJ and a big flying shot and Exploder to Anderson. Riddle continues to dominate AJ and Anderson at the same time as fans chant for him. Riddle sends Anderson out and hits big a Final Flash and a Bro 2 Sleep on AJ but Gallows breaks the pin. Lee comes in but Ciampa saves him from a Magic Killer. Anderson and Ciampa end up on the floor. Lee curls Gallows and hits a big body slam.
AJ runs over with a big DDT to Lee, sending him out of the ring. AJ counters a German from Riddle. They trade big shots and AJ nails a Brainbuster for a close 2 count. Fans chant “NXT!” as Riddle rams AJ back into the corner. AJ with a boot to the face and a forearm from the apron. AJ springboards in but Riddle ducks. Lee runs in and hits a Pounce on AJ, but it also knocks the referee down. Fans chant “holy shit!” as Lee looks around. Lee runs the ropes and clotheslines Anderson. They both tumble to the floor. Riddle gets up as fans chant “Bro!” now. Riddle runs the ropes and leaps over, gets stuck on the top rope, but still takes down Gallows, Anderson and others on the floor. Ciampa drops AJ with a big knee in the ring. Ciampa goes for the Fairytale Ending on AJ but the music interrupts and out comes Finn Balor to a loud reaction.
AJ takes advantage of the distraction and hits a pele kick to Ciampa. Balor drops Riddle on the bottom of the ramp with the 1916 move. AJ looks out and smiles at Balor. AJ raises the “too sweet” and Balor does the same from the floor while looking at AJ. AJ goes for a Styles Clash on Ciampa in the middle of the ring but NXT Champion Adam Cole runs in the ring with a superkick to AJ. Cole then hits a Last Shot on Ciampa as fans go from cheers to mostly boos. Cole stands tall in the ring as his music hits. Cole stares at Balor, who is staring back at him from the middle of the ramp. NXT goes off the air as Balor and Cole stare each other down.
