Opening Segment
Singles Match: Asuka vs. Nicole Matthews
From the opening grapple, Asuka attacks Matthews’ left leg and forces her to the ropes. The referee asks her to break the hold. Matthews delivers some lazy right hands which sting Asuka and get her licking her lips. She runs the ropes and delivers a flying hip attack to Matthews. This forces Matthews to her knees for some strong kicks to the chest and torso. Matthews flops to the mat in exhaustion.
Out of the corner, Matthews leaps off of the second rope, directly into Asuka’s grasp and the champion forces her to the ground into an armbar submission. Matthews rolls out of it after squirming out of the armbar but Asuka adjusts it into a cross-arm submission. Matthews rolls up Asuka to break the hold and get a quick 2 count.
Matthews misses a high kick. Asuka does not. She wraps her legs around Matthews’ torso and brings her down into the Asuka lock for the victory.
Winner: Asuka via submission in 3 minutes.
Recap: Last week, on nXt, SAnitY interfered with Rich Swann and Kona Reeves’ match. This prompted No Way Jose to try to defend his tag partner from the Dusty Classic. He called out Eric Young for a match and promptly got beat up by the entire group, after getting a few digs in. Their actual match is up next!
Second Segment
Coming Up: On Saturday, the rematch for the nXt Championship will take place between Samoa Joe (c) and Shinsuke Nakamura in Osaka, Japan
Backstage, Joe says there is no one close to his level. On December 3rd, he’ll…he gets interrupted by “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger. He asks for a chance to prove himself tonight.
Joe says you’ve already been humiliated once in this country, he’d hate to have to do it again. He asks Dillinger for a reason why. Dillinger says he has ten but he’s only giving 1. He slaps Joe in the face and briskly walks away. Joe is pissed. That match is gonna happen TONIGHT!
Singles Match: No Way Jose vs. Eric Young w. SAnitY
Jose came to the ring to fight tonight! He’s throwing Young around, from corner to corner, finishing with a big back body drop. Young rolls out to regroup. As he does, Wolfe gets on the apron to distract Jose but it doesn’t work. Jose attacks Young and stays on the offensive, whipping Young into the turnbuckle hard! Young flips over it on to the mat below as his stable mates look on.
*Commercial break*
On the return, Young pulls Jose out under the bottom rope and the two exchange punches at ringside. Jose throws Young back in but gets caught up on the apron by Wolfe. Young seizes the momentary distraction and slams Jose’s head backwards on to the top rope, sending him to the mat below. Ouch.
Young clubs Jose on the neck and rolls him back in for a 1 count. Young with the neckbreaker and a 2 count this time. Young is in control as he stomps on Jose in the corner. He applies a dragon sleeper on Jose from the middle rope, Jose’s legs flailing and searching for a place to stand. He drops Jose to the mat and covers him for a 2 count. A few neck twists and then another 2 count. He’s wearing Jose down with a headlock as the crowd chants for Jose. Jawbreaker by Jose to break the hold!
Young charges Jose and gets a face full of turnbuckle. Here come the chops by Jose and a hip toss/neckbreaker out from the ropes on Young. Huge clothesline by Jose for a 2 count! Jose is winding up and delivers a knockout punch to Wolfe on the apron. Young charges. Jose lifts him up and connects with a fastball punch. And the cover…but the referee is distracted by Nikki Cross.
Graves says the numbers game is too much as Young clubs Jose from behind. Wheelbarrow position on Jose and he’s lifted up into a neckbreaker. 1-2-3.
Winner: Eric Young via pinfall in 9 minutes.
Post-match, Nikki Cross rushes back to the ring, mounts the turnbuckle and connects with a dropkick on Jose from the top rope!

Backstage, Asuka is asked about a change in her personality over the last while. Asuka says there is no change. She is simply the best. She wants competition.
Pre-match, Dillinger needs proof why he’s the best in nXt. He needs this win against Jose to be relevant in nXt.
Non-Title Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger
Joe and Dillinger exchange right hands to open the match. They decide to chop instead. This decision brings Joe from corner to corner as Dillinger delivers backhands and forehands, and even clubs. Joe responds with a few punches. He throws Dillinger off the ropes, leans over and gets kicked in the face. Dropkick by Dillinger! Joe retreats to the outside and he’s pissed as…
We go to commercial break.
We’re back and Dillinger slams Joe’s face into the top turnbuckle. He mounts the second rope and the crowd chants “ten” along with each punch. Joe throws Dillinger on to the apron, walks away and returns to receive a jumping punch from Dillinger. Dillinger enters the ring, twists Joe’s arm and gets thrown outside. Dillinger returns via tripping Joe to the mat and splashing him from the apron for a 2 count.
Dillinger tries to lift Joe on to his shoulders but he can’t do it. Crushing knee buster by Joe stuns Dillinger and immobilizes him. Joe continues with kicks to the left knee and leg of Dillinger. He transitions it into a kneebar submission. Dillinger scrambles for the ropes but the damage has been done. Dillinger is limping as he slaps and punches Joe. Joe responds with kicks to the chest and an elbow drop. 1-2- kickout by Dillinger.
Joe is in complete control. He steps on Dillinger’s knee, toying with him. With Dillinger back on his feet in the corner, Joe punches him right back to the mat with jabs. Dillinger meets Joe in the middle of the ring and they square off, one punch after another. Dillinger bounces off the ropes straight into a powerslam by Joe for a close 2 count. Joe is disgusted with Dillinger for kicking out!
Snap suplex from Joe. He continues targeting the left knee of Dillinger in the ropes. Joe feigns doing the “ten” hands and gives two thumbs down to Dillinger. From the corner, it’s Dillinger battling his way out with left hands and cross chops. Joe doesn’t even care though and he responds with a running elbow and snappy enziguri in the corner as…
We go to another commercial.
Joe’s jabs and chops punish Dillinger. His striking offense extends towards kicks to the chest of Dillinger. He covers him for a 2 count. Dillinger’s holding on but not by much. The “10” chant starts up, motivating Dillinger back to his feet. He’s able to break Joe’s submission attempt on his neck but he receives an atomic drop for it. It doesn’t faze Dillinger though and as Joe runs at him, Dillinger evades the big boot and clotheslines Joe to the mat.
He’s all fired up, limping a little as he chops Joe in the chest. Flying clothesline, knee to the chin, another clothesline and is this going to be enough or is it too little, too late? Joe’s down in the corner as Dillinger stomps him multiple times. As Joe recovers, Dillinger slides his kneepad down but can’t get anywhere else because Joe is too heavy for him to lift on to his shoulders. Joe reverses it into a German suplex. Dillinger drops down on Joe and tries to cover him for a 2 count. Stunned, both men return to their feet where Joe catches Dillinger’s extended leg, spins him and gets caught with a kick to the sternum. 1-2- kickout again by Joe! Dillinger is beside himself.
Graves points out that Dillinger looks to be doubting his abilities. He prepares yet again for his Tye-breaker finisher. He gets Joe up on his shoulders this time but Joe wiggles off and as Dillinger charges, Joe spikes him hard to the mat. In the middle of the ring now, powerbomb by Joe and he holds it for a 2 count. He transitions into a Boston crab submission, then into a crossface. Dillinger has nowhere to go. Joe rolls over into the Coquina Clutch and Dillinger passes out.
Winner: Samoa Joe via submission in 16 minutes
Post-match, Dillinger is left in the ring by himself, receiving a good amount of cheers from the crowd in what amounted to a losing effort.
