Independent talent and former Crash Women’s Champion Lacey Lane has officially signed a developmental contract with the WWE.

Lane had a tryout back in February of 2017 but wasn’t given a contract at the time. She also had another shot at the WWE Performance Center the following month, but the offer was rescinded when the company found arthritis in her knee.

The 30-year old mentioned in an interview with the Spinning Heel Kick Podcastthat she tweaked her workouts after that decision to help strengthen her knee. It seems to have worked, as the WWE has officially signed her, according to LuchaCentraland Squared Circle Sirens.

Lane lost the Crash Women’s Championship to Impact Wrestling’s Tessa Blanchard on July 14.
