WWE superstar Xavier Woods posted a statement on Twitter earlier today claiming that the New Day has been “repping” that Kofi Kingston will become WWE champion since the popular group was formed. Woods even changed his Twitter handle to support Kingston’s surge in popularity into the main event scene.
If you’re late to the party,
#NewDay has been repping that@TrueKofi will become the WWE world champion since our inception. It will soon become a reality. There is no bandwagon. There is no alternate truth. We are here for him and always will be.#KofiVsBryan
