Ric Flair Health Update Following Report from TMZ

We noted earlier how WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was rushed to a hospital in the Atlanta area after suffering a medical emergency. It was noted that Flair was facing a “very serious” situation, according to TMZ.

In an update, Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, participated in a media call to promote Starrcast II this afternoon and said Flair’s situation is not as serious as TMZ made it out to be.

Conrad also said Flair underwent a scheduled surgery today. He made it clear that this was a procedure that The Nature Boy needed and had previously made the decision to have it done before his trip to Las Vegas for the big roast next week, instead of waiting until after the event to have it.
